Anotation
This list does not claim to be exhaustive, particularly with regard to the many parties that took place in order to finance our cultural program at all - after 2007, exhibitions and music events in the Art Cologne came to a reduction and standstill more and more, in connection with the extensive restoration, the annoying clerk's office and related internal disagreements.
Nowadays there are only a few art events per year, the meeting and event rooms in the got renovated according to the regulations since 2011 and are used and occupied again with internal and partly commercial events again.
Of course the nimble music scene exceeds the commercial gallery artists by far of any real activity. They slow down more progressive approaches, deliberately inserted for reasons of their own benchmarks levels.
Nothing new in KunstWerk since my progress, except for example an “adjusted” Chronicle wiping out everything that maybe might “interfere” or be a reminder of anything “controversial” in past and present on their homepage.
So in my view it is back to “Quo Vadis KunstWerk” for the seemingly becoming ever more petty bourgeois self-insulating environment of the Rhineland.
Despite all diversities, I wish the atelier house KunstWerk every success in their actions, a more progressive view of the art world, as the commercial market offers this and a successful holding of the Cologne authorities.
